The Transportation Security Administration is expanding its PreCheck screening program to 60 more airports, including Myrtle Beach International.
The expedited checkpoint lanes will offer participants the ability to keep their belts and shoes on and leave their laptops in their bags for faster service through the terminals.
Those registered for the program will also not have to remove selected liquids and gels from their bags.
TSA's PreCheck is expected to come to Myrtle Beach by year's end.
Those interested can sign up for a one-time fee of $85. That will enroll you for a five year membership that includes a background check and fingerprints.
Later this year TSA will launch an application program, allowing more U.S. citizens to enroll.
