Tropical Storm Andrea brings down trees

There were several trees down in the Grand Strand area due to the wind and rain from Tropical Storm Andrea.

A tree fell about 7:45 a.m. Friday at 18th Avenue South and Hillside Drive, blocking the road. It was quickly cleared by crews.

Three trees fell in North Myrtle Beach overnight, but all were cleaned up by Friday morning, according to North Myrtle Beach spokesman Pat Dowling.

Maison Drive off of Lake Arrowhead Road in Myrtle Beach was shut down due to a tree limb on a power line.

So far, no reports of any major damage.
