The trial for former Timmonsville Clerk of Court, Wilhelmena Washington, begins Monday in Florence County.
In November 2011, the State Law Enforcement Division arrested Washington on accusations she forged Judge Lloyd Wilcox's signature to commitment and release paperwork for an inmate at the Florence County Detention Center.
At the time, she was the court clerk for the town of Timmonsville.
In early July, Judge Knox McMahon dismissed two recent indictments against Wilhelmena Washington during a hearing in Lexington, according to Washington's attorney Patrick McLaughlin.
In March, the state indicted Washington for additional counts of Forgery and Misconduct in Office.
Judge McMahon dismissed those charges on grounds the indictments were insufficient. Washington will be tried on the other count of Forgery and Misconduct in Office.
