An Amtrak train crashed into a pickup stuck on the railroad track at the intersection of Main Street and Acline Street in Lake City around 11:45 Monday morning.
The truck had tire problems causing it to get stuck on the track , according to Lt. John Kelly with Lake City police.
He says the driver was able to get out of the truck, but it was too late to stop the train.
No one was injured .
There are 136 passengers and seven crew members on the train.
It was heading from Savannah to New York when it collided with the pickup.
The driver of the pickup that was hit by the Amtrak train in Lake City has been charged with Driving Under Suspension, according to Lake City Police Lt. John Kelly.
Kelly adds the driver will not be found at fault in the accident because of mechanical problems with his truck.
