Travelers in the area of Highway 17 Bypass and Farrow Parkway Wednesday night will want to be aware of some construction work expected to affect traffic.
Contractors working on the Backgate Interchange Project will be relocating some of the signal poles, according to Horry County officials. This work will be taking place between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m.
During this time no left hand turns will be able to be made from Highway 17 Bypass, which includes turning left onto Farrow Parkway or turning left on to SC 707.
Myrtle Beach Police officers will be on scene to assist with directing traffic, but motorists are advised to find alternative routes during that time.
