Timmonsville has lifted the boil water advisory.
Residents no longer need to boil water prior to drinking or cooking, according to Interim Town Administrator Mary Bines.
Following a flushing of the distribution system, bacteriological samples were collected and analyzed.
The Department of Health and Environmental Control says the samples showed no contamination.
Residents were asked to boil their water for more than two days.
