Three dead after three-car crash in Robeson County
Robeson County, N.C. (WPDE) —
Three people were killed Friday afternoon in a three-car crash on Highway 711 near Pembroke, according to officials with the Raft Swamp Fire Department.
The Raft Swamp Fire Department initially went to the scene as first responders.
Officials say one person was airlifted to a hospital.
Some people traveling in the area shortly after the wreck said it was one of the most terrible accidents they've ever seen.
We've contacted North Carolina Highway patrol to learn what led to the deadly collision.
