Three arrested in Loris shooting

Horry County Police say three men have been arrested and charged with murder in connection with the deadly shooting that occurred in Loris on Wednesday night.

Manton Connell Alford, Quinteel Pierre Harley and Dashon Cortez Grate were arrested and charged Friday evening, according to a news release from Horry County police.

David Blanton, 24, of Loris and his brother were found after their truck ran into a utility pole around 11 p.m.

When police found them, both had gunshot wounds.

According to an incident report,

police found

the primary crime scene, where the two men were shot, on Holly Street in Loris.

Police say the case remains active and additional arrests and/or charges possible.
