Teenagers arrested in Murrells Inlet burglaries

Two teenagers have been arrested in connection to several burglaries in the Murrells Inlet community over the last few weeks, according to a release.

Patricia Elizabeth Blair Hemlepp, 17, and Brian Scott Perry, 18, both of Murrells Inlet were arrested by Georgetown County Sheriff's deputies and taken to the Georgetown County Detention Center where they are waiting for a bond hearing.

Deputies said Nance's Creek Front Restaurant and the Hot Fish Club, both located on Highway 17 Business, and two residences on South First Street were burglarized in a two week period.

Hemlepp is charged with Hindering and Obstructing, Burglary Second Degree and Grand Larceny.

Perry is charged with Burglary First Degree, Burglary Second Degree and Grand Larceny.
