Teen wanted in connection with shooting surrenders to police

A 19-year-old Myrtle Beach man
who was wanted in connection with the shooting of a 16-year-old, surrendered to Horry County police on Monday, according to Lt. Robert Kegler with the Horry County Police Department.
Warrants were issued last week for Ian Daniel Campbell. Kegler said he is being charged with Attempted Murder, Armed Robbery and Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime.
On Thursday, Horry County police arrested
and were looking for Campbell .
The shooting happened
on Andover Drive near Surfside Beach about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.
A 16-year-old says he was hanging out with Campbell
Williams, when Williams put him in a head lock, according to a police report.
The victim told police he thought Williams was kidding because they were friends.
But Campbell said it wasn't a joke, to hand over his money, and shot him in the leg, the report says.
Campbell and Williams took off in Williams' car and police were able to track them down.
Campbell jumped out of the car and ran, police say.
The took Williams to J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
The 16-year-old was taken to the hospital.
As of Monday afternoon, a bond hearing had not been scheduled for Campbell.
