Teen shot in home invasion in Myrtle Beach apartment

Myrtle Beach police officers are looking for three men who they said broke into an apartment, shot an 18-year-old man in the arm and took off, according to the police report.

Officers were called to the 700 block of 3rd Avenue North in Myrtle Beach around 5 p.m. Thursday for a shooting.

An 18-year old man and 39-year-old man told police they were watching a movie when a 19-year-old guy came into their apartment. He was out of breath and had been running, according to the report.

He told the men he was down the street at a girl's house when three men in a black Nissan Maxima started following him and one of the guys in the car pointed a gun at him. Then he ran.

15 minutes after he arrived at that apartment, the victims told police three men kicked in their door. One of the men shot the 18-year-old in the arm and hit the 39-year-old on his head with a gun.

They ordered all three victims to get on the ground, searched the house and left. The victims weren't sure if anything was taken.

The report said after the men left, the 19-year-old victim left the apartment and police never found him.

No arrests have been made.
