Teen accused of vandalizing Georgetown church

Collin Stanley Thompson, Jr. faces a Second Degree Burglary charge in connection with vandalism at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Georgetown.

Collin Stanley Thompson, Jr., 17, is charged with Second Degree Burglary in connection with damage to Cornerstone Baptist Church in Georgetown over the weekend.

Georgetown County sheriff's deputies were called to the church at 10 a.m. Sunday, after someone arrived at the church to find glass doors broken, rooms ransacked, and fire extinguishers discharged.

Investigators say food and a lap top were stolen.

The sheriff's office says two other teens are expected to be charged.
