Tuesday night, Horry County police arrested Shelton Lathal Butler, 21, in connection with the deadly shooting of Jose Gutierrez, 20, of Myrtle Beach, on June 8th.
Butler is charged with murder.
Members of HCPD's Bloodhound Tracking Team arrested Butler on Lucas Bay Rd. in Conway.
HCPD is still looking for Donavon Curtis Johnson, 19, who is also charged with murder.
Johnson is described as being 5'6" tall and weighing approximately 135 pounds.
According to the June 8th incident report, the person who called 9-1-1 said a man was shot and several women took the man from the scene in a vehicle.
The officer who first arrived on scene found fresh blood, a cell phone, and a sneaker on the street.
A witness in a nearby house told police she heard a shot and her grandson came in the house crying that someone had been hurt. She said she later learned the person who was shot was her daughter's boyfriend, Gutierrez.
She said she heard they were taking him to Conway Medical Center.
The officer called the hospital and found out Gutierrez had shown up with a gunshot wound and died at 9:15 p.m.
