Grocery stores and food retailers are zoning in on a certain demographic lately, and you may be able to tell who it is just by looking down the aisles.

Companies are targeting men with their products.

According to the Wall Street Journal, recent surveys show men doing a greater share than they used to of the shopping and cooking for their households.

Some food makers are trying to appeal to the male shopper by offering larger portions and darker more "macho" packaging.
