The South Carolina Department of Transportation says pavement temperatures have remained above freezing and there has been no accumulation of winter precipitation on the pavement so far.
SCDOT forces will be working on rotating 12-hour shifts applying salt and other anti-icing/deicing materials.
Sixteen crews have been deployed from the low country to the upstate to assist with snow removal operations. Statewide, roadways are still in good shape.

832 Maintenance employees actively involved in road operations
731 Tons of Salt (cumulative total)
163 Tons of Sand (cumulative total)
2,038 Gallons of calcium chloride (cumulative total)
393,150 Gallons of salt brine (cumulative total)
