Snapshot interrupted leads to stabbing

One man was stabbed on Ocean Boulevard around 3:30 a.m. Sunday after he unknowingly stepped in front of Brian Terrell Strayhorne, 29, who trying to take a picture, according to a Myrtle Beach police report.

It happened in front of the Captains Quarters hotel at 901 South Ocean Boulevard.

Police say an argument started between Strayhorne and the victim, which resulted in a fight that included other possible suspects.

During the fight, the victim was stabbed with an unknown sharp object.

Strayhorne and the others ran off, but police later arrested Strayhorne at the Palms Motel a few blocks away.

The victim was taken to the hospital.

Strayhorne is charged with assault. He is from Rocky Mount, NC.
