Six people taken to hospital after crash involving ambulance in Florence
Florence, S.C. (WPDE) —
Six people were taken to the hospital Tuesday morning after a two car crash on Highway 76 near the Florence Flea Market in Florence, according to Windy Hill Fire Chief John DeLung.
DeLung said a private ambulance service with a patient on board collided with a pickup truck.
He said three people on board the ambulance and three people inside the truck were taken to the hospital.
DeLung said the injuries don't appear to be life-threatening.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the driver of the truck has been cited for failure to yield the right of way.
