Singleton Ridge Road construction to be complete Thursday

Major construction on the Singleton Ridge Road construction project will be completed by Thursday, according to the SCDOT construction engineer leading the project, Anna Barnhill.

Beginning Thursday, the traffic pattern will be normalized, meaning that traffic will flow as it will when the project is 100 percent complete, but construction will continue inside the roundabout.

The work inside the roundabout will include resurfacing and landscaping.

Over the next month, SCDOT crews will work to finalize the project, adding asphalt layers to reinforce the road surface.

The project is expected to be completed and all crews off-site in one month’s time.
