Starting June 1, the Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) will lift the overnight parking ban at its short-term parking lot.
Just in time for the summer season, the airport will eliminate the overnight parking ban at its short-term parking lot. Previously, the lot was closed and the overnight parking was prohibited.
The daily rate will be reduced from $21 to $15.
The first 20-minutes of parking in the short-term lot will remain free, and each 20 minutes thereafter will be $1.00.
"The relaxation of the overnight parking ban essentially creates another parking option for passengers departing the airport," said Michael La Pier, Director of Airport. "The adjacency of the short term lot to the terminal building, and the new lower pricing should be welcomed by our customer."
Effective June 1, 2013:
? Short-term lot, the maximum daily rate will be reduced from $21.00 to $15.00
? Short-term lot, overnight parking will be permitted
? Long term lot, the maximum daily rate will increase from $8.00 to $9.00
? Credit Card lot, the maximum daily rate will increase from $6.00 to $7.00
