      Shaw Air Force base is no longer on lockdown

      SUMTER (WACH) - Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter is no longer on lockdown according to a base spokesperson.

      Base officials say around noon, there was a "perceived threat". Base leaders immediately took security measures locking down the base, preventing anyone from entering, leaving, or moving around on base.

      Shaw Air Force Base Officials say no shots were fired and no one was injured.
