A wreck on I-95 in the northbound lanes at mile marker 176 in Dillon County blocked traffic for hours Thursday evening and into the overnight hours.
The scene of the wreck has been cleared and all lanes are back open, according to the South Carolina Department of Transportation.
At one point traffic was backed up for about six miles to mile marker 170.
About 4:15pm, a tractor trailer flipped over and blocked all lanes of the interstate for several hours.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol's online traffic information, the wreck involved injuries, but no further information on that is available at this time.
