Second person dies after Murrells Inlet apartment fire

Two people have died following a fire on Saturday in Murrells Inlet.
Georgetown County Coroner Kenny Johnson says Andrew Heldebrandt, 56, died Tuesday morning at the burn center in Augusta, Georgia.
John Long, 72, died at the burn center Saturday.
Two other people jumped from the second floor apartment to escape the fire and sustained minor injuries.
The apartment complex is on Lotus Court, which is off of Highway 17 just south of Waccamaw Community Hospital.
Someone outside the unit saw the fire and call 911 just after 9 a.m. Saturday.
Midway Fire Rescue and Horry County Fire Rescue assisted Murrells Inlet - Garden City Fire in putting it out.
The fire was contained to the one apartment unit.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, and Murrells Inlet- Garden City Fire Investigators.
