      SCHP investigating deadly Georgetown County crash

      South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash in Georgetown County Saturday night.

      The crash happened around 8:45 on Brick Chimney Road.

      The driver of a 2001 Ford pickup was killed after running off the road, according to SCHP.

      The truck hit an embankment and overturned.

      The driver may not have been wearing a seat belt, according to troopers.
