An Amber Alert issued in South Carolina for two children missing from New Jersey was cancelled just after 1 a.m. Saturday.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division said the children were found safe in South Carolina, and the suspect in the case was arrested.
Police say the children were found at John Jordan's father's house in Greenville.
New Jersey police asked the State Law Enforcement Division to issue the Amber Alert in South Carolina Friday night for two children believed to have been taken by their father after their mother was found murdered.
New Jersey police say Friday, John Jordan removed his two children from their school in Lodi, NJ prior to the end of the school day.
John Jordan was separated from his wife and was not supposed to pick up the children at the school.
Police Say when they went to the children's home for a well-being check, they found the mother stabbed to death.
At the time the alert was issued, police said Jordan may have been heading to Greenville, SC.
