Rain tapers off. Clouds linger Tuesday

A cold front will slowly push through the area and off of the coast Tuesday.Skies will remain mostly cloudy with the chance for rain early in the day. West of I-95 will be mainly dry with partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies. The rain will taper off East of I-95 through the morning. A few leftover showers will be possible through noon along the coast, then mostly cloudy skies during the afternoon.You can always track the rain on First Alert Live Doppler 15000 or if you have an iPhone or Android make sure you download or app. Temperatures will be in the low to mid 70s area wide.
Another disturbance will pass by overhead on Tuesday night into Wednesday. This will keep the clouds around along with a slim chance for a shower. It wil be a cooler night with temps around 50°. High temperatures Wednesday will be down a few degrees only reaching the mid to upper 60s under partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies.
Once this disturbance moves away Wednesday night, skies will clear and high pressure will slowly build in. With more sunshine through the end of the week and weekend, temperatures will rebound back to the 70s and even 80s Inland by the weekend.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with the chance for showers. Rain chances taper off from West to East during the morning with the entire area dry by early afternoon. Highs-Low/Mid 70s.
Tonight:Mostly cloudy and cooler. A passing shower will be possible. Lows: Grand Strand: Low 50s, Inland: Upper 40s..
Wednesday: Partly sunny to mostly cloudy with the slight chance of a shower. Highs- Mid/Upper 60s.
Thursday: Mostly sunny and pleasant. Highs- Grand Strand: Upper 60s, Inland:Low/Mid 70s
