A cold front moving into the East will increase rain chances during the day. A few showers will be possible early. During the afternoon, rain and storms will move across the area from West to East. Periods of heavy rain will be possible along with the slight risk for severe storms. The primary threat will be damaging winds, but isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out. The threat for severe weather will continue through the alte evening and then diminish after midnight. The cold front will be just off of the coast to start Tuesday and slowly drift away. Skies will remain mostly cloudy with the slight chance for a few showers early in the day. High temperatures will reach the low 70s.
Another weak disturbance will pass by overhead on Tuesday night into Wednesday. This will keep the clouds around along with a slim chance for a shower. Temps will be down a few degrees with highs only in the mid 60s.
Conditions finally improve toward the end of the week with gorgeous weather lasting into the weekend.
