Police seize marijuana, money during #TrafficStopTuesday
Horry County, S.C. (WPDE) —
On Tuesday, Horry County police seized marijuana and money during a traffic stop.
Police shared the seizure in posts on Twitter and Facebook, each tagged with "#TrafficStopTuesday."
Officials said a driver was going 59 miles per hour in a 45 mile per hour zone and they were pulled over by an officer.
During the course of the traffic stop, police located 80 grams of marijuana and $3,920 in cash.
The drugs and money were seized and the individual was arrested for trafficking.
Police ended their posts by saying, "Nice work Motor Unit!" and reminding area drivers to "#SlowDown."
