A North Carolina man is being charged with Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor, after police said he had sex with a pregnant teenager.
Jose Jesus Cecena-Martinez, 47, of Louisburg, North Carolina is being held on a $20,000 bond in the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
Horry County police officers were contacted by a captain with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office in North Carolina on Saturday.
The captain told Horry County police officers that a 14-year-old girl left North Carolina with Cecena-Martinez.
Tracking technology placed them both off of Old Reaves Ferry Road in Horry County, then led officers to Price Park Lane.
Police went to the front door of a home and asked a man if there was anyone else inside the residence besides his wife and child in the living room.
The man told police there wasn't.
Officers then heard someone in the back room buckling a belt, according to a police report.
They ordered Cecena-Martinez out of the bedroom and arrested him.
The 14-year-old girl also left the room, and told officers that she was not kidnapped and that she left North Carolina with him voluntarily.
The victim "appeared to believe she was in love with him and was four months pregnant with his child," according to the report.
She told police that she and Cecena-Martinez had sex hours before police arrived at that location.
Cecena-Martinez told police that he sold his truck and pistol to get money so he and the girl could move to Mexico, according to the report.
