Police find North Carolina girl that was missing

HIGH POINT, N.C. - Police have found a 17-month-old girl who was sleeping in a vehicle that was reported stolen at a grocery store parking lot.

North Carolina officials cancelled an Amber Alert late Friday morning for Shylin Olandea Neal. They said the girl has been found safe but did not immediately provide details.

The High Point Enterprise reported she had been found safe in the sports utility vehicle in Greensboro. There was no immediate word on any arrests.

They say she was in an SUV that was stolen shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday.

The girl's grandmother told WGHP-TV the keys were in the vehicle.
