Police say a 26-year-old Conway man was stabbed during a meeting with his sister and her ex-boyfriend in a church parking lot Sunday night.
According to an Horry County report, the officer arrived on scene to find a 26-year-old man being treated by EMS.
He was bleeding profusely and lying on the ground, according to the report.
A 27-year-old woman told police that she was meeting her ex-boyfriend, a 29-year-old Galivant's Ferry man, to return some of her property. Her brother, the man who had been stabbed, came with her to to the church on Bakers Chapel Road make sure she was safe.
The woman told police that during the meeting the Galivant's Ferry man started to get angry with her and told her she wasn't leaving and tried to pull her into his car. Her brother stepped in to help and he and the other man began arguing, the report said.
The report said the Galivant's Ferry man then pulled out a sharp object and stabbed the Conway man. He was stabbed twice, once in the side and once in the arm.
Shortly after police arrived on scene the Galivant's Ferry man called police and said that he had been assaulted and the brother and sister, as well as another woman from Aynor, tried to rob him, according to the report.
Police say the incident is still under investigation.
