Officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex in Myrtle Beach Sunday and found Francisco Basurto-Dominquez had fired a gun in an apartment and ran, according to a police report.
When officers arrived, they were told someone had been shot in an apartment so officers tried to reach the person inside. When they did not get a response, they forced entry.
Once inside the apartment, there was a woman on the kitchen floor. Officers later learned she had not been shot, but the suspect fired the gun in her apartment and ran, according to the report.
Officers were able to catch Basurto-Dominquez running out of the woods near Dunbar Street.
Basurto-Dominquez is charged with Discharging Firearms into a Dwelling and the Sale or Delivery of a Pistol.
