Myrtle Beach police say a man already in jail at J. Reuben Long Detention Center for a 2010 murder was responsible for another murder that occurred in 2009.
On Wednesday, police charged Lorenzo Juquel Herion, 21, of Conway for the murder of Antonio Grate of Myrtle Beach on April 22, 2009.
G rate was shot in the chest and died at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, according to police.
Another victim at the scene of the murder told police four to five men broke into to their apartment and demanded money.
The victim says G rate told the suspects there was no money and one of the suspects shot him.
In 2010, Conway police charged Herion for the shooting death of a man who then drove his car into a building.
Police say Malcolm Kinlaw drove his car into the Thomas Supply building on 3rd Avenue just minutes after being shot by Herion. Kinlaw died at the hospital.
Conway police also charged Herion with Armed Robbery stemming from a Robbery on Oak Street Extension in Conway on September 28, 2010, Unlawful Use of Telephone stemming from an incident on Gale Avenue in Conway that same day, and Failure to Appear in Court.
