Police ask for help to find Bennettsville woman missing since November

Shelby Head (Bennettsville police)

State police were called to the home of Shelby L. Head, a Bennetsville woman who has been missing since November.

Police say her family reported her missing on Monday, Feb. 12, but the last time she was seen was on Nov. 18, 2017.

Investigators believe Head's last possible known whereabouts to be on Patton Street, in Bennettsville, around November 18, 2017.

Officers say it appears she disappeared without a trace.

Bennettsville Police Chief Kevin Miller says they called in state police to help them search Head's home on Patton Street.

Police have learned that since Head was seen by her family in November she was pulled over by Bennettsville police.

Miller says this investigation is ongoing.

Police say they are concerned because her cell phone and credit cards haven't been used.

Anyone with any information regarding Head’s whereabouts is asked to contact Investigator Tim Hood with the Bennettsville Police Department at 843-479-3620 or the Marlboro County Central Dispatch at 843-479-9999.
