Police arrest two on drug charges after search of home

The Darlington County Combined Drug Unit is searching a home on Orange Street in Darlington and have arrested two people in connection with drugs found in the home.

Jerry Gainey, 59, and Ronnie Legette Hill, 56, are each charged with Possession With Intent to Distribute Crystal Methamphetamine. Deputies say prescription drugs were also found in the home.

Police say they responded to a call of a disturbance at the home just after 4:30 Tuesday morning.

Officers say a woman inside the home indicated there were drugs inside.

The Combined Drug Unit searched the house and found what it believed to be drugs. Deputies say through working with the Combined Drug Unit they were able to make the arrests.
