Man hit and killed by car near Longs Monday morning
Horry County, S.C. (WPDE) —
South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash that happened early Monday morning on Bombing Range Road near Longs.
It happened at 1:45 a.m. and the State Highway Patrol, Horry County Police and Horry County Fire Rescue responded.
Travis Wilson, 29, from Longs, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Deputy Horry County Coroner Tony Hendrick.
Troopers say a pedestrian, later identified as Wilson, was walking along Bombing Range Road, when a 2003 Volkswagen car hit him.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured, according to SCHP.
