Officers looking for two men who hog-tied victim with a rope

Myrtle Beach Police officers are investigating an overnight robbery in which one of the victims said he was hog-tied with a rope, according to a police report.

Officers were called to the Sun Fun Motel on Withers Drive in Myrtle Beach Wednesday night around 11:45.

The 38-year-old victim told officers two men knocked on his door, then pointed a gun in his face, according to the report.

He said the men hog-tied him with a rope, binding his hands and feet.

The report said the men stole his phone, two flat-screen televisions and his e-reader, which have a combined value of more than $1,500.

A 33-year-old man showed up to the room around midnight and told police the two suspects put a gun to his face and forced him into the room, according to the report.

He told officers the men stole his car keys, phone and over $600 in cash. Then he said they stole his GMC Yukon from outside the motel.

Police said the vehicle was later recovered.

No arrests have been made.
