Obama to seek congressional authorization on Syria

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama says he's decided the U.S. should take military action against Syria in response to a deadly chemical weapons attack the U.S. says President Bashar Assad's regime carried out against Syrian civilians.

Speaking from the Rose Garden, Obama also says he will seek congressional approval for action against Syria.
