EVANSTON, ILL. -- Normally clad in purple, Northwestern will do battle against the Michigan on Saturday, November 16, dressed in red, white and blue, but that's not what has some people crying foul.
The Wildcats will take their home field, against the Wolverines, wearing custom Under Armour uniforms to raise awareness and support for the Wounded Warrior Project. The organization's mission is to honor and empower the nation's wounded service members.
However, the uniforms are not without controversy. Some believe the uniforms show what represents blood stains on the American flag.
