North Myrtle Beach releases bank robber photos

NMB police released these surveillance images of a man robbing the TD Bank this weekend.

Just before 9 a.m. Saturday a man robbed TD Bank on Sea Mountain Highway in North Myrtle Beach. A teller at the bank reported the robbery to police.

North Myrtle Beach released surveillance pictures Monday morning.

North Myrtle Beach Public Information Officer Pat Dowling said, "The robber fled with a bag containing an undisclosed amount of money and a dye pack."

Dowling says the suspect is described as a stocky male, about 5' 10" tall and approximately 200 pounds. He was wearing a white "old man" rubber mask, straw style hat, khaki colored long sleeve shirt with collar, khaki colored pants, dark colored gloves, dark colored shoes and presented a small black in color semi-automatic pistol.

The robber was seen leaving the area in a small silver vehicle. Police believe it could be a 2002 to 2006 Nissan Sentra.

Dowling said a witness followed the suspect as he fled the scene, but lost track of him.

This robbery could be related to a recent one in Horry County.

Horry County Police and Highway Patrol are assisting North Myrtle Beach Police in their investigation.

Dowling said the FBI has also been at the bank.

No one was hurt.
