North Myrtle Beach Police looking for information on hit-and-run

The North Myrtle Beach Department of Public Safety is asking for the public's help gathering information about a hit-and-run accident that happened on Robert Edge Parkway on Friday.

According to a release, a 35-year-old man on a moped was traveling west on Robert Edge Parkway around 6 a.m. when a vehicle hit the moped and then left the scene.

The man on the moped was left lying in the road with serious injuries until someone stopped after seeing him in the center lane and called 911.

The wreck took place between Old Sanders Road and S.C. Highway 31.
