Myrtle Beach Police on scene of possible bomb threat at Marina Inn at Grande Dunes
Captain Joey Crosby with the Myrtle Beach Police Department confirmed Saturday afternoon that officers responded to a possible bomb threat.
Crosby says officers were on scene at the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes and called in additional resources.
The 2017 Grand Strand PRIDE Business Expo and Gala happened at the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes. The sold out event is scheduled to run from 4:00-7:00p.m. Saturday.
Dozens of sponsors were scheduled to present information to the public.
Officers continue their investigation, but the location has been cleared by law enforcement and a K-9.
Officers did not locate any item that would have deemed suspicious.
