Myrtle Beach pawn shop owner arrested for stolen goods after police raid business

Donald Steven Wiggins, the owner of Steve’s Pawn Shop in Myrtle Beach, is charged with receiving stolen goods over $10,000 dollars, according to Lt. Joey Crosby with Myrtle Beach police.

His arrest comes after, back in 2015, the Myrtle Beach Police Department got information that Steve’s Pawn Shop, at 1007 Broadway Street, was receiving and selling stolen merchandise.

Detectives opened an investigation and, today, got a search warrant for the business and arrested Wiggins, Crosby said.

The investigation is on-going and future arrest(s) are possible.

The Myrtle Beach Police Department also said it wants to thank the asset protection investigators from TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Home Goods, Home Depot, Publix, and CVS for their work and participation in this investigation.
