Thursday morning, Myrtle Beach International officials announced the arrival of eight new markets the airport will serve.
In an agreement with Vision Air, MYR will have scheduled flights to Cincinnati, Cleveland, Toledo, and Columbus, Ohio; Indianapolis, Indiana; Louisville, Kentucky; Nashville, Tennessee; and Springfield, Ill. Seats are on sale now for flights, beginning May 31, 2012, through October 31, 2012.
Vision will provide the service as non-stop Boeing 737 jet service from MYR to these destinations.
In a press release, Vision Airlines said the fares to Myrtle Beach start at $109 each-way, including all taxes and fees.
"We are excited to welcome Vision Air to MYR and we are confident that the markets they've chosen will provide terrific opportunities for both Vision and our destination," said Director of Airports at MYR Mike La Pier. "It's been our goal, along with the Chamber and Golf Holiday, to continue to work to bring new visitors to our destination with increased air service. We are pleased to partner with Vision Air to introduce all that Myrtle Beach can offer to a new and much greater audience."
