Horry County Police arrested multiple suspects Wednesday night in a prostitution operation in Myrtle Beach, according to a press release.
Detectives with the Horry County Police Department's Narcotics and Vice Section initiated an investigation and operation into illegal prostitution utilizing a website known for that activity.
Police said deals for sexual acts were made in exchange for money. They said the people involved agreed to meet at predetermined locations in Myrtle Beach.
Nine arrests were made. All nine suspects are charged with Prostitution and are being held in the J. Reuben Long Detention Center. The nine suspects are:
Amanda Marie Ambler, 26, of Yukon, Oklahoma.
Heather Jane Ann Shea Coleman, 35, of Longs.
William Cody Edmund, 25, of Myrtle Beach.
Tara Melissa Forsythe, 31, of Ash, North Carolina.
Tiffany Marie Forsythe, 31, of Ash, North Carolina.
Robert Wayne Glidewell, 42, of Ash, North Carolina.
Marcus Hugh Hopkins, 40, of Ash, North Carolina.
Amber Marie Mercure Muirhead, 38, of Myrtle Beach.
Ashley Melissa Long , 26, of Myrtle Beach.
Long is also charged with Simple Possesion of Marijuana.
