UPDATE: Power has been restored to all customers according to Horry Electric Cooperative's website.
More than 1,000 Horry Electric Cooperative customers are without power Thursday morning.
The outage started around 3:18 a.m., according to the energy cooperative's website.
4,700 customers in the Brooksville area in the north strand were originally without power, but that number has since been reduced to 1,015.
Crews have been dispatched, and members that are out of power are being called.
