The Peanut Warehouse in Conway was filled with police officers, members of the Horry County Sheriffs Office, and the community on Thursday to raise money for two special people.

Chaplain Eddie Hill had open heart surgery and Lt. T. Washington is battling an illnesses. The office came together to cook up some barbecue and raise money to help.

People were able to grab a plate to-go, have it delivered, or stay and enjoy the company.

The food was whipped up by volunteers and seeing everyone come together as a family, brought Chaplain Hill to tears.

"A lot companies say they're family oriented, they say they care about their employees and in the culture we live in today it's easy to say that, but where the rubber meets the road and you really get down to it, these guys were here for us. It's cool, it's good stuff."
