MB Police investigate two beatings and strong armed robberies

Police say this man used a stolen credit card at a WalMart after he and three others beat up and robbed a person in MB.

Myrtle Beach police are investigating two strong armed robberies.

The first happened on July 1st, on 3 rd Ave South in Myrtle Beach. Police say a victim was assaulted by four young men and his wallet was taken from him. One of the credit cards was later used at WalMart by the person in the surveillance pictures released.

Police the men were were in a white, early 2000 model Chrysler 300M or Concord.

Two weeks later, on July 14th, authorities say a similar strong armed robbery happened about a block away around 2nd Ave South and Myrtle Street.

At that incident, a victim was reportedly severely beaten and robbed of his wallet by four young men. Police say they think the same suspects were involved in both incidents.
