The South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce has released the county unemployment figures for February.
The statewide figure was released in March but due to a computer upgrade, the county numbers weren't available until now.
Marion County has the highest unemployment rate in the state at 20.2%. This is a decrease of .8% over January.
Marlboro County's unemployment rate in February dropped 1.3% to 17.4%.
Dillon's unemployment rate also dropped slightly to 15%.
In Horry County in January, the unemployment rate was 13.3%. It improved slightly to 12.9% in February.
Georgetown County's unemployment was almost flat, dropping just on-tenth of a percent to 12%.
Darlington County saw a slight improvement to 11.2%
In Florence, the rate was flat from January to February, sitting at 11%.
Statewide, the unemployment rate was 10.2% in February. The state saw its sixth consecutive decrease.
