Man wanted for unsolved murder returned to Horry County
A man arrested in Arkansas last Thursday was wantedfor an unsolved murder in Horry County. On Tuesday, the man was extradited back to the Grand Strand.
Jose Tostado, 36, was booked in the J. Reuben Long Detention Center Tuesday at 1:45 a.m.
Officers with the Bald Knob Police Department arrested Tostado last Thursday, but he was using an alias. They contacted Horry County Police when they learned his true identity.
Police say Tostado is one of several suspects wanted in connection with the shooting death of Alfonzo Fuentes on September 16, 2000.
Tostado is charged with Murder and Assault and Battery with Intent to Kill.
He is being held on no bond.
