Man wanted for stabbing one woman and sexually assaulting another

Myrtle Beach police are searching for Waredell Bullock, 53, who is accused of stabbing one woman and sexually assaulting another early Saturday morning.

Just before 2 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to a stabbing at a house on the 2400 block of Highway 15.

Terry Nesbitt was with his neighbor inside her house at that address when Bullock charged in.

"He came in with the knife already drawn and everything, a kitchen knife or something like that," he explained. Nesbitt says he ran to his house next door after Bullock charged at him with a knife.

Nesbitt said he never expected what happened next. "After me and him tussled I guess I thought he was going to stop and argue with her or whatever but I didn't know he was going to stab her up like that."

According to a police report, Bullock stabbed the woman in the neck and chest. She made it to Nesbitt's house and knocked on the door, screaming for help. Police arrived and she was taken to a hospital.

Just a few hours later, a woman called police from a gas station on 21st Avenue North, saying she was walking with a man when he grabbed her by the neck, forced her into a wooded area, and sexually assaulted her.

Police say the same man, Bullock, committed both crimes.
